FAQ

1. How do I schedule a session?

Submit an Appointment Form Below, and I will get in touch with you. Or, you can give me a call at (970)846-0492.

2. How long are therapy sessions?

A typical session lasts 50 minutes. Although, the length of each session depends on the client’s needs. Session length can range from twenty-five minutes to an hour and twenty minutes. Small children will start off with shorter sessions. If a client prefers brief treatment or task-centered therapy, the sessions will be shorter. Specialized services such as EMDR and DARe are typically an hour and twenty minutes in length due to the more intensive nature of the therapy.

3. Do you bill insurance companies?

The payment is due at the time of service. I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company with any necessary supporting documentation. Each insurance policy is different, and your therapy is unique to you. I cannot guarantee insurance coverage. For a clearer understanding of your policy and what it covers, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider.

4. What should I expect during my first session?

During your first session, you will learn more about your therapist’s education and experience. Your therapist will help you set goals and will teach you about different treatment models that can be used during your therapy process. Together we will choose the treatment path that works best for you.

5. How much does each session cost?

Payment is due at the time of services. I accept cash checks, credit cards, and HSA cards. Costs are shown below.

25 Minutes = $75.00

50 Minutes = $150.00

1 hour and 20 Minutes = $225.00
